Leadership and Impact

  • During my time at Morgan Stanley I was able to lead many UX efforts. My ownership was present in projects including the Collaborative Account Onboarding initiative, working with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to improve the digital account opening experience.

    Responsibilities included:

    • Driving the UX design process from research through prototyping

    • Conducting advisor research sessions to identify pain points in onboarding workflows

    • Creating journey maps and interaction designs for the onboarding experience

    • Presenting design concepts to product and engineering stakeholders

This experience strengthened my ability to translate research insights into practical product improvements while aligning multiple teams around a solution.

  • I organized and led internal workshops focused on improving team collaboration and design workflows.

    These sessions included:

    • Creating a KPI Framework deck

    • Facilitating collaborative Retrospective sessions

    • Encouraging cross-team knowledge sharing

The workshops helped teams reflect on how design work moved through the organization and surfaced opportunities to improve communication between designers and engineers.

  • I regularly presented design work to broader UX and product teams, sharing research findings and design proposals.

    These presentations helped:

    • Align stakeholders around design decisions

    • Communicate user insights gathered through research

    • Gather feedback from other designers across the organization

Presenting work in these settings helped me build confidence in articulating design rationale and facilitating discussion around product decisions.

  • Participated in a volunteer program with colleagues from Morgan Stanley in the Dominican Republic, where a group of 25 employees spent a week building houses and supporting local community initiatives.

The experience emphasized the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and social responsibility outside of our day-to-day roles.
